About Us

Advanced Independence was founded in February 2006 to provide support for individuals with disabilities who receive services from the Division of Developmental Disabilities long term care system.

We offer quality care and support for individuals and their families in Maricopa County, backed by our commitment to help them find the best methods for teaching language, social, and behavioral skills to their children.

Our goal is to empower these families and enable their children to learn, grow, and become independent and show them that every moment is a learning moment.

Our direct support professionals (DSPs) provide a variety of services and support that are responsive to the wants, needs, and requests of our individuals.

Our DSP team realizes the importance of including the individuals we serve in all aspects of daily life to help them become well-rounded and independent members of the community.

With low staff turnover, you can rest assured knowing that your loved one will enjoy the benefits of continuity of care from our team that is in tune with every client that we work with.
